In addition to the coursework and teaching responsibilities, anatomic pathology residents perform necropsies, coordinate attendant laboratory results, and communicate with veterinarians. Upon completion of this three-year program, they are eligible to take the American College of Veterinary Pathologists Certifying Board Examination.

New Graduate students Drs. Mark Robarge (Purdue University) and Meaghan Broman (University of Wisconsin )joined the ADDL staff on July 1, 2012
