9/30/2010: Summer is leaving and Fall is arriving! The weather on Saturday will be perfect to set a PR. You still can register for The Purdue Monumental. Online registration closes today at midnight. Onsite registration will be tomorrow 4-6PM and race day 7:45-8:45AM by the Continuum. C’mon! Run Purdue.

9/27/2010: Dr. Alan Beck, Professor at the School of Veterinary Medicine and world expert in the Human-animal bond, has autographed several copies of his bestseller book “Between Pets and People” for this race. This book is the gold standard for those interested in this subject. Some copies will be given during the raffle.

9/24/2010: Hey! Where are the long distance runners? We need more 15Kers to make this race competitive. Throw your hat into the ring! The 15K course is beautiful.

9/23/10: Both race courses have been improved and include more Purdue landmarks such as Founders Park and running around and through the Bell Tower. C’mon! Run Purdue on October 2^nd

9/17/2010: The Inaugural 2009 Purdue Dog Jog champion, 6-year-old Viszla named Baile, will participate this year with his two-legged lifetime running partner, Peg. They will face tough competitors!

9/12/2010: Dean Reed will be attending the PU Dog Jog with his dog Sammy!

9/10/2010: Great news runners and walkers with dogs! The first 50 runners/walkers registering for the dog race will receive a bag of dog treats from Jack’s Snack and Bakery (one per runner no matter how many dogs you run with!) donated by Klondike Canine Academy and Blair Animal Clinic
